  • Special Assistant to the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Business Transformation
  • Supported Deputy Under Secretary of Defense Paul Brinkley (Task Force for Business & Stability Operations) in conducting operational analyses and stabilization of business entities in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other areas of special interest to the United States.  Applies specialized expertise in manufacturing and general business “best practices” to strengthen and enhance critical businesses in high-impact regions of the world.  Plans and directs the activities of subject matter experts to achieve enhanced business stability and operating performance.
  • During 2009 – 2011, focused primarily on Helmand Province, Nimroz Province, and Kandahar Province in Afghanistan.  In June 2010, “coined” for work performed in Helmand Province by General Richard Mills, Commander of ISAF Forces in Southwestern Afghanistan. 
  • In 2011, received commendations and medals from the US Joint Chiefs of Staff (The Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award), the US Secretary of Defense (Global War on Terrorism Medal), and the Department of Defense Task Force for Business & Stability Operations (Exceptional Public Service Medal).
